Black hair, brown eyes. Tran has a mole on the left side of her chin. Her ears are pierced. Details of Disappearance Tran was last seen when she went shopping with her mother at a shopping center in Midwest City, Oklahoma, on April 4, 2015. She told her mother she had to meet someone at 5:00 p.m. She has never been heard from again. Monday, April 13th 2015, 10:12 pm By: News 9 A distraught  Oklahoma City  family reached out to News 9 for help finding their loved one.  Trang Tran , 32, has been missing since April 5. The Del City High School and UCO graduate disappeared after going shopping with her mother at a Midwest City department store.  Police found Tran’s car parked in her apartment complex’s parking lot, but her family said the car was not parked in her normal spot. Her family is also concerned because it did not appear that she packed any bags for a trip.  Tran’s Aunt  Myanh Samuels  flew in from her home in Las Vegas on Saturday to support the family. “From the bottom of my stomach I am worried,” she said. Family desperate to find missing pregnant woman.

Trang Tran was last seen Saturday, April 5 when she went shopping with her mom; something they did every Saturday. “She told her mother that she have to meet someone at 5 p.m. and her mother said OK and that’s the last we heard of her,” Tran’s aunt, Myanh Samuels, said. The following Monday morning, Tran did not show up for work and her employer called police. “She apparently is known to show up very prompt.  She’s always prompt to work.  She never misses work and the co-worker became concerned when she hadn’t seen or heard from her,” Sgt. Jennifer Wardlow with the Oklahoma City Police Department said. Tran’s case was originally assigned to missing persons, but has now been turned over to homicide. Sgt. Police turn over missing person case to homicide.

OKLAHOMA CITY — Police officers have turned over a case involving a missing Oklahoma City woman to the homicide division, officials said. The family of Trang Tran, 32, said she was last seen or heard from on April 4 at a shopping center in Midwest City, police said. She is 4 feet 9 inches tall, weighs 100 pounds and has black hair. Tran also is pregnant. About 5:25 p.m. April 6, officers were dispatched to Tran’s workplace to respond to a missing person report, according the report. Her employer said that Tran did not show up for work that morning and that she was not able to get in contact with her. Tran’s employer said she was the type of person who usually calls even if she would be five minutes late, according to the report. The employer said she went to Tran’s apartment and could not locate her car, a white Nissan Versa, the report said. She then tried contacting Tran’s parents, but she was unsuccessful.
